"On 04/01/24 I phoned Premier Roofline to ask if they would quote for repair of the roof of a dormer window. From what was said I understood that there was a fair bit of work involved and was quoted £900. The day after I got a quote two vans and four people arrived to do the work, only one of whom actually did the work on the roof. They left after about an hour. I commented that the work involved appeared to be less than I understood was necessary but was informed that more work was actually involved. I could not see how that was the case, but I had agreed to pay £900 for the work. I said we would pay by bank transfer. I would not recommend Premier Roofline again."
Trader reply: "Thank you for your feedback as it's very important to us. We value your comments as customer service is our priority. We initially attended this job to replace a small section of felting, however, upon further inspection of the roof it became apparent that further work would be required. In addition to the felting, we scraped out the gutters, cleared two dormer roofs of moss, repointed ridge tiles, repaired two valley tiles and repaired a gutter joint. The customer was happy on completion of the work, and we followed up with a call the next day, to confirm the work was satisfactory, following a period of rain.
