Hello and welcome to the profile page of Heath Carpentry Ltd.
My name is Gary Heath and I am the Director of the company. As well as personally having over 30 years experience, I continually strive to provide a courteous and respectful approach whilst delivering quality workmanship at competitive rates. Any additional labour that I may use are trades people that I have developed trusted relationships with over a long period of time.
In recent years I have undertaken many staircase refurbishment projects and can offer a complete service to transform your stairs to include replacement and cladding in oak, with traditional spindles or glass panels.
A few of the many aspects of carpentry that I can provide are listed below.
Domestic:
- Internal and external doors, supplied and fitted.
- Fire doors.
- Staircase refurbishments, including oak and glass
- Bespoke joinery projects.
- Kitchens fitted.
- Crown Imperial kitchens, bedrooms and home studies supplied and fitted.
- Skirting boards, architraves.

- Garden structures, fences and gates.
- 1st , 2nd fix and roofs to extensions.
We can also offer a complete refurbishment service with all trades arranged and managed for you.

- 1st and 2nd fix to new build.
- Truss and cut roofs.
- Bespoke items/fittings for retailers.
- Property maintenance/refurbishment/fit-outs.

"Gary was fantastic from start to finish. We provided pictures of our existing staircase and what we would like to achieve, we then left the rest to him. His work was to an exemplary standard, also leaving our property clean and tidy. I would highly recommend his carpentry services."

"Gary was a pleasure to have worked with. He fitted 5 oak doors upstairs for us to a very high standard with the absolute minimum of fuss. All the doors open and close perfectly, none of them 'rattle' in their frames and all of them will stay where you put them instead of swinging open or closed. He was polite, punctual and careful to keep any dust and mess to a minimum - and then tidied up thoroughly behind him when finished. We agreed a price after his site survey but at the end Gary said the job was easier than it might have been, so he reduced what he charged. That made a very refreshing change in my experience of dealing with contractors! So I recommend Heath Carpentry without hesitation for a reliable, quality service with a professional and conscientious approach."

"I used Gary for fitted bedroom furniture. I planned 3 quotes, 2 from UK wide fitted furniture specialists and 1 from a carpenter (Gary) who I found on the internet after checking out various carpenter websites. Gary was great to deal with from the beginning. On time, thorough, polite and helpful. I instinctively felt Gary would do a great job and he did! There was so much attention to detail that I am sure would not have been quite the same with UK wide fitted furniture companies and one of the biggest reasons for me was that I could leave the whole project to Gary which meant he could arrange his own electrician at the point he needed him . Gary was faultless in his finish and he also put in my laminate flooring and new skirting boards. He was thorough, clean, tidy and respectful and the finish was lovely. I would not hesitate to use Gary again for any further work needed. You will not regret using Gary!"
