    "Its always a worry when hiring a builder as there are too many horror stories of poor workmanship or lack of communication, but with DGA construction all these concerns have been put to rest. Dave has been an excellent builder to us from first initial quotation right through to finished results. His given quote was broken down superbly so we could see what each section was costing and understand where our money was going. Although initial quotes can seem expensive, when broken down as Dave does it, you can see the charges are reasonable. Dave listened to what we wanted and adapted plans to suit. He kept us up to date with any issues and gave us options based on cost, extensiveness of work and preference for design. He has worked around us while we continue living in the property and minimised dust and disruption, putting out dustsheets and working in an orderly fashion. He's helped us with decisions and his good contact with building control assures for his quality of work."

    "I met Dave around two years ago whilst he was building my next door neighbours extention. I found him, polite and courteous to us regarding noise and potential mess. I saw him and his lad turn up at 8/9am every day do a full days work until 5pm, the quality of his work and fact he had been honest and open I decided to ask him complete my build. He has worked for me for the last year building a two story, wrap around extension. From the outset dave was up front, spotting mistakes made the architect that would of cost extra if not spotted in the beginning. Items that had been missed in the 3 other quotes I obtained before meeting Dave. He completed the work without fuss and around my wife and two children under two years old, being mindful of noise and dust. Finishing it beautifully and in a timely manner. I trusted him with my wife and kids whilst I've been at work without a second thought and I will defiantly be using him again. Many thanks for all your help Dave, Ralph and family."

    "This work is still ongoing and started at beginning of Jan this year. So it’s a big job and I’ve had plenty of time work out if he’s any good! The job is a two story extension but it’s basically a new house he’s building. Living room, kitchen dinner, 2 bedrooms with en-suites. Dave and the other trades he recommends are honest, reliable and put effort in to make sure their work is of good quality and you are 100% happy. He has worked around us as a family, one baby/toddler and now another on the way and small dog. He’s tried to plan works so as to disrupt us as little as possible. For instance has decided to do the patio and finish other outside works while we have our newborn at home for the first couple of weeks. Having had contact with other builders during the quote phase and I can tell you he’s not your stereotypical builder, he wasn’t the cheapest but I’m so glad I trusted my gut and went with Dave."
