Jay Joinery, has been providing carpentry and joinery services to customers in Derby and the surrounding areas for over 5 years. As a craftsman with in-depth knowledge of the trade, I use a combination of traditional and modern methods to help each customer to achieve the finish they desire without compromising on quality.
I strongly believe that all joinery should be done to the highest standards, whether it’s a feature staircase or hanging a door. To this end, I will always conduct a consultation with each prospective customer so that I can accurately gauge their expectations, desired functionality, timescale, and budget. This allows me us to advise each customer of the best course of action based on their specific requirements and helps me to achieve high rates of customer satisfaction for their bespoke carpentry.

"Jason, was very good and Yes I would recommend. He was polite, professional and prompt whilst being a little flexible. We had our bathroom floor done ie some of the underflooring, ie plywood/chipboard and on top of that, he laid laminate. His workmanship was good and where we had to point things out, he was able to put them right. We would definitely use him again. He does doors/banisters, plus flooring. His pricing was reasonable as well. Prob best to have the price documented so as to not cause any embarrassment either side. Thanks Jason"

"Jay replied very quickly to my initial message and carried out the work later the same day. He was replacing some damaged and missing skirting boards and managed to get an exact match to the others in the room, even though they were not standard size. He worked efficiently and with great care and the price was very reasonable. I am very pleased with the result and will be happy for him to do any joinery work for me in the future."

"Jay responded very quickly to our initial enquiry and having noted the somewhat urgent need for the work to be completed (due to my wife’s recent injury) kindly offered to return just a couple of days later to complete the work on Saturday morning. He worked extremely hard, tidily and skilfully and did an excellent job building us a smart new oak step. Would thoroughly recommend."
