At Active Carpentry we have been providing carpentry and joinery services to customers in Kettering for six years. As craftsmen with in-depth knowledge of our trade, we use a combination of traditional and modern methods to help each customer to achieve the finish they desire without compromising on quality.
We believe that all joinery should be done to the highest standards, whether it’s a feature staircase or hanging a door. To this end, we conduct a consultation with each prospective customer so that we can accurately gauge their expectations, desired functionality, timescale and budget. This allows us to advise each customer of the best course of action based on their particular needs and helps us to achieve high rates of customer satisfaction for our bespoke carpentry.

What was once an awkward, narrow room has been completely transformed into a bright, practical, and beautifully organised workspace. The worktop fits perfectly wall to wall and makes excellent use of the window area, creating a spacious desk without overwhelming the room. The finish is clean and seamless, and it feels incredibly sturdy and well made. The shelving above has added so much useful storage while still keeping the space light and uncluttered. Everything is aligned perfectly and installed with real precision. The attention to detail is clear throughout. The proportions work perfectly in a compact room, and the overall look is modern, fresh, and functional. It has genuinely changed how we use the space, making it a comfortable and inspiring place to work. Professional, reliable, and highly skilled from start to finish. "We couldn’t be happier with the built-in wardrobe. The attention to detail was excellent throughout – every finish was neat, precise and clearly done with care. They were punctual every day, turned up exactly when they said they would, and worked efficiently without rushing the job. Their enthusiasm really showed; they took pride in the work and were genuinely invested in getting the best possible result for us. Communication was clear and straightforward from start to finish, keeping us informed and happy with each stage before moving on. The price was very fair for the quality of workmanship delivered, with no surprises or hidden extras. Overall, a highly professional service and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them."

"In a world full of cowboys and lack of talent , what an absolute dream it was to find Dan at ACTIVE CARPENTRY . From initial prompt easy communication , I knew we had struck gold..He gave great honest advice on our stair wall situation and quoted a great price so quickly. His craftsmanship and attention to detail on a tricky wall was impeccable. We also had some shelves added to our laundry cupboard and Dan installed our previously bought shelf for us, which was a tough job but he persevered and won in the end. We are so pleased with the work, but I delayed in reviewing as wanted to show the work once painted and fully finished, however ,decorator is delayed. Like everyone, we would highly recommend Active Carpentry, no need to look for anyone else. We are already planning his next jobs 😀👍🏻 Thanks again Dan , and sweeping the garage was above and beyond 🤩👏🏻"
