At Revive we have been providing carpentry and joinery services to customers in Stockton-on-Tees for over 40 years. As craftsmen with in-depth knowledge of our trade, we use a combination of traditional and modern methods to help each customer to achieve the finish they desire without compromising on quality.
We believe that all joinery should be done to the highest standards, whether it’s a feature staircase or hanging a door. To this end, we conduct a consultation with each prospective customer so that we can accurately gauge their expectations, desired functionality, timescale and budget. This allows us to advise each customer of the best course of action based on their particular needs and helps us to achieve high rates of customer satisfaction for our bespoke carpentry.

David - Image 1 "Initially he built me an island I bought materials he charged £600 labour satisfied. He suggested he had material off a job he didn’t want to do and offered to re do my paneling in living room I agreed. No price was agreed. Day 1 he installed 3 rows of paneling Day 2 he installed 6 rows of paneling put some edging on island and re stuck some slats in bedroom he did that in 4 hours. I asked what do I owe you he said I charge £300 day so 2 days £600 and material was £250. I found out the material was £70. Even though all he did on day 1 was 3 rows of paneling he charged £300 then day 2 he does double the work and more in 4 hours but still charges £300. As others have mentioned if you hire this guy get a set price or he will drag work out to earn more and buy your own materials as he will add 4 times the price. If you want to pay £850 for a small wall of paneling then use this trader, but I cannot recommend him."

We’re pleased to hear that you’re happy with the island installation. To clarify regarding the second job: the original installation on the panelling was not completed to an acceptable standard, so I removed it and remeasured using a laser level. The replacement material was of higher quality and slightly wider, which allowed for a better overall finish. I also added a refined edge detail to create more of a shaker style look, which the customer agreed was an improvement. All work carried out, along with the associated costs, was fully discussed and agreed with the customer beforehand. At Revive, we take great pride in our workmanship and always strive to deliver the best possible results for our customers."
