Leadway Developments & Construction specialise in extensions, loft conversions and garage conversions across Bexley, Sidcup and surrounding North Kent areas. With over 30 years’ experience, we deliver well planned, high quality builds that blend seamlessly with your home.
We manage every stage in house, from design and planning through to completion, ensuring clear communication and reliable timeframes. In most cases, we can prepare an initial budget cost to near Building Control standards before full drawings are complete, helping you plan with confidence.

Our payment approach
We never ask for a deposit. You only start paying once we begin work. Invoices are issued weekly for work completed, keeping everything transparent. After snagging and final payment, we release all completion certificates (Building Control, Electrical and Gas Safe).

"I hired Leadway for an extension at my home in Orpington and the experience was excellent from start to finish. Communication was clear, the team were organised, and the quality of the work was consistently high. They approached the project with a level of professionalism and attention to detail that I would normally expect in my own industry, which is not something I often see in the building world. The site was well managed, any questions were dealt with promptly, and the whole process felt controlled and predictable. The finished extension has really improved the house and the workmanship speaks for itself. I would happily recommend Leadway to anyone looking for a reliable and capable contractor."

"I had my garage converted and a new Howdens kitchen fitted, and I’m so pleased with the result. Leadway were professional, friendly, and kept me updated throughout. They also helped me with all the design and planning for the kitchen, which made the whole process so much easier. The finish on both the conversion and the kitchen is excellent. I’d happily recommend them to anyone."

"We were recommended Leadway by friends who had used them for a similar garage conversion, and we have to say we weren’t disappointed. The whole project ran like a dream and we’re really happy with the kids’ new playroom. The boys also found time to fix our leaking soil stack while they were here, which was a big help. We’d highly recommend Leadway."

Jamie - Image 1 "Leadway built our single story extension along with complete downstairs refurb last year, for which I have already reviewed here but Den kindly agreed to the lads coming back to fit our new electric powered awning. Only half a days work but he found time for them to come and do this for us out of their busy schedule, courtesy of being a previous client of theirs. The lads were efficient and tidy as ever and did a great job as shown in the picture."
