"Great service from the LCA team and amazing prices as well. We've had our fireplace capped and removed and it was on the dot with price and genuinely great service. The Engineer was knowledgeable and gave great advice, cleaned up after herself and went a little above and beyond. The quotation is also very clear and on the dot. Huge respect for the team and for having to deal with me."

Stephanie Lee - Image 1 "It was on the way to a 5 star review, but it was just a bit of a shame at the end. To start off, the work itself was generally good, some gaps here and there, slightly unpolished finished. The lads were polite and gave a very good impression. However when the job was nearly completed I was told paint was not quoted, despite I made it quite clear I wanted paint as the original were tiles and I even mentioned I wanted it to be water proof. So instead of asking what I wanted, they just left it as bare plaster. To me, this was a lose lose situation. Even if it wasn't quoted, no one asked what the intention was for the walls and ceiling, and they just decided to leave the job as it is. Also found out during the process the boilers water pressure valve was broken, which they fixed, but had I not asked them about it, it may never have gotten fixed. Finally they delayed the start and completion date."
Trader reply: "We’re sorry to hear there were aspects of the job that did not meet your full expectations. Regarding the painting, we understand the frustration and apologise for any miscommunication. Our quotations are based strictly on the specifications discussed and agreed upon, and unfortunately, painting was not included in the original scope. That said, we acknowledge that further clarification should have been provided, especially where expectations differed, and we will take this on board for future projects. As for the pressure valve, we’re glad it was identified and resolved, but we also appreciate your point that more proactive communication would have been helpful. Please be aware, Jaymie was aware of the issue and had the part on his van to fix for you, when he next visited. Finally, we regret the delays in scheduling and appreciate your patience. We value your feedback and will use it to help us improve the experience for all of our clients. Thank you"
