I have worked in the roofing profession for approx 38 years. Initially I workd for several roofing companies as a sub-contractor I then decided to form my own company J.W.Scudder Roofing I have trained all of my staff personally and do not use sub-contractors. I take pride that my Son and Stepson are now part of the company and work to a high standard as do all of my employees.     Mike - Image 1 "John came recommended to me by a friend whose roof he’d done, and I would now recommend him to all my friends without a moment’s hesitation. From the first phone call to the completion of the work, John was super helpful, friendly and professional. He updated us everyday in the run-up to and during the work, and was always cheerful and accommodating. The initial quote was the best we had, and that was the price we paid when the work was done - no surprises and no hidden extras! The site was always tidy at the end of each working day, and it was left spotless once the work was complete. And our new roof looks absolutely fantastic! John and his team are much in demand, but they are worth waiting for, because you will get an outstanding job!"

    "I honestly couldn’t be happier with the result. The roof looks fantastic and the quality of the workmanship is clear to see. This is a genuine family business and it really shows in the way they work and treat their customers. The whole team were friendly, professional, and incredibly hardworking from start to finish. Even on days with patchy rain and difficult weather, they kept going and made sure everything was completed to a high standard. They were reliable, tidy, and always happy to answer questions along the way. It’s rare to find a company that combines skill, professionalism, and great customer service so well. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing roofing work done. A top-class job from a great team."
