Painting and Decorating Association

The History book below explains the fascinating story of the British Decorators Association (BDA) and its forerunners from 1894 to 1994. In 2002, the BDA merged with the Painting and Decorating Federation and the Painting & Decorating Association was born. Our long distinguished list of Past National Presidents from all five organisations are listed on the right and we look forward to the next 100 years of representing master craftsmen and women in painting and decorating.
