At Trust A Trader, we are all about people. What others think really matters to us; it helps us to combat rogue traders and helps our customers to find traders near them that they can rely on. We care about what our customers think of us, too. We work hard to build a community of reliable traders and aim to promote best-practice and do everything fairly and with dignity. We are, therefore, delighted that Trust A Trader won the prize for “Online Tradesperson Directory of the Year” in the annual On the Tools Awards 2016.
The UK’s largest online community of construction professionals and manufacturers, On the Tools, offers people within the construction industry an online platform where they can recruit, tender for work and promote high standards and a strong community feel. The awards promote excellence within this community and celebrates the hard work done by traders, construction workers and manufacturers.
Despite stiff competition from other leading online tradespeople directories, Trust A Trader came out on top, for our fair approach and excellent customer services, which result in high standards and happy customers, time and again.
Sales Manager, Ross Angell, was on the panel of judges (of course, he was not involved with the judging of our category!) and says: “Having been a member of the panel of judges, I have seen, first-hand the incredibly high standards of all the traders, manufacturers and contractors that were shortlisted in this year’s On the Tools Awards. I am so proud and pleased for all of the staff at Trust A Trader and all of the traders registered in our directory; together we are providing a safe, professional environment where people can expect quality and great customer service.”
Trust A Trader’s CEO, Gary McEwen added: “We were delighted to have been shortlisted for the award for Online Tradesperson Directory of the Year but winning it in the face of such high-calibre competition is absolutely fantastic. It is an incredible testament to the high standards that we expect our staff and each trader to meet. I can’t think of a better way to end this year and am looking forward to next year, when we will continue to protect people from rogue traders and improve the experience for traders and our customers.”
