A Single ply roof is a roof that has a single waterproofing layer, such as EPDM (rubber), GRP (fibreglass), TPO & PVC, these are all the modern roof coverings and because they are a single layer this makes them alot lighter than a build up of older bitumen and tar . We have over 30 years experience working with single ply membranes , these membranes are far superior to older bitumen felt and tar , lasting up to six times longer 40+ years. All our fitters have multiple years experience which is backed up by training licenses , so you can be sure that your roof is in good hands with us . We offer a 20 year guarantee with new PVC or EPDM roof that we fit , and up to 40% discount on adjoining roofs

What other waterproofing systems are there and why choose single ply?
There is a range of waterproofing solutions available to property owners now. It used to be in the past that the only product available was bituminous felt roofing, but as with most building materials over the last few decades there have been huge advances made, and now improved waterproofing products are now available. Each product offers and promotes benefits over one another but undoubtedly single ply is by far the most widely used flat roofing waterproofing system in the new building sector today. The reason for this is that it has proven over the last 20 years to the industry, professionals and clients that it is simply the best solution.
Single ply membranes are the most widely used flat roofing material in the new build commercial sector today but only recently have they become more available to the domestic and refurbishment market place. Single ply is a thermo plastic material. It comes in rolls 2 meters wide and 20meters long. It is welded together using a hot air gun that fuses the thermo plastic material together giving a weld that is stronger than the material itself.

An overlay roof is a very cost effective solution to getting a brand new roof without the hassle and expense of having to pay for the old roof to be taken off and disposed of .     Paul - Image 1 "Company did a really good job which came in on the expected quotation, Mr Brummit was very good at explaining what needed to be done found him very helpful. He started work on agreed date and worked on the roof over a 3 day period untill it was completed, took all old panels away and cleaned up after, no mess. Since completed the roof it has been watertight. I am very happy with the work completed and have no problems recommending his firm for any roofing work in future."
