If you are looking for a block-paving specialist in Essex JL Brown Groundworks can help. We have been transforming driveways for over 20 years, laying tarmac, and installing block-paving, fences, and crazy paving for happy customers in Essex and the surrounding area.
Our speciality is the construction of dropped kerbs and we have an experienced team dedicated to this section of our works.

Lynn - Image 1 "JL Brown Groundworks were on our short list as initially looking to only have the drop kerb installed and they have all the accreditation needed by Essex Highways to complete the job. Found Jamie to be very helpful when he came to quote for the drop kerb. Having checked reviews on other platforms found good reviews over a number of years decided to not only engage him to do the drop kerb but also lay the front drive. The preparation of the area for the new drive was significant with a lot of soil to be removed along with very old paving. A substantial base was laid despite the challenging dire weather and the old utilities. Jamie had discussed the detail of the layout/design of the blocks . The photo doesn't do justice to the curve around the tree. So much attention was paid to the edging along with the finish of the block paving. The same attention to detail was taken with the drop kerb. Jamie takes a lot of pride in providing the best end result. Both he and Ronnie worked non stop."
