JA Brickwork are a small company based in Milton Keynes. We are pointing specialists and bricklayers with over 28 years' experience in the building and construction industry. We know that investing in property improvements, conversions and new builds is a significant investment for our customers and pride ourselves on our reputation for providing a trustworthy and efficient service to our customers.
Bricklaying is a craft and our friendly, experienced team members continually strive for excellence using both traditional and modern techniques to achieve an outstanding finish. Based in Milton Keynes, our local bricklayers are fully qualified and insured and work to the highest standards.
We are affiliated with professional bodies who encourage best practice among bricklaying contractors, including CSCS, the Construction Skills Certification Scheme.
Our bricklayers take the time to understand their clients’ needs and budget before embarking on any job. They apply their extensive experience in bricklaying and masonry, aiming to exceed customers’ expectations and achieve a high quality finish designed to last for generations. We work closely with each customer and are proud of the positive feedback that we receive from our many satisfied customers.

"John did such a good job with building our wall, that we got him to do our new patio too. John's very knowledgeable, he knew as our existing patio was so flat & level that it would be a good foundation base for the new patio to lay on top. I like the finishing of the shingles around the edges of the patio - it finishes it off nicely. It only took 2 days to complete, and once finished John explained the aftercare - to wait a few days, to let the patio settle, before giving it a pressure wash Thank you John & your team, now all we need is some nice sunny weather 😎 to enjoy our new patio"

"Our wall was starting to fall down with the weight of the earth behind it - John knew exactly what needed to be done - giving us a double wall for extra support & flatter, wider coving along the top so we can use it for extra seating in the summer. It didn't take them long to build this wall, with the lovely step up onto the grass area. They arrived on time, & left the area clean & tidy once they had completed the job, we like the detailing of the coloured bricks, it gives it a nice overall finish. Thank you John & your team, we are pleased with our new wall."

Jitin Patel - Image 1 "Great work by JA Brickwork for our Retaining Wall project. We needed to replace a long and substantial Retaining Wall which had developed a severe lean. Jay came promptly for a site visit, clearly explained the necessary work, discussed options and provided us with a detailed and competitive quote. Jay and his team provided a great service from start to finish, they were punctual, worked very hard and efficiently, kept the site clean and left it tidy after they finished. The replacement Retaining Wall is stronger and much better built than its predecessor, with the team having built in additional features to improve its longevity. They have shown great knowledge and expertise of Brickwork and we were impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail. Jay and his team were polite, courteous and we felt confident in their ability to finish the work on time and on budget. First-class Brickwork from a team of real Brick professionals."
