"The company failed to fulfil the terms of our contract. Despite waiting for more than three months, the agreed dropped kerb work was never completed. Recently text messages and attempts to contact the contractor were simply ignored. During the quotation we were informed that TM Contractors was an approved contractor listed by Northamptonshire Council to carry out dropped kerb works. After checking, we were unable to find the company on the council’s list which has raised serious concerns about the accuracy of the information we were given. Instead of completing the agreed work, we were left with an unfinished project, no communication, and no accountability from the contractor. I cannot recommend this company to anyone looking for an honest, reliable and professional contractor. Our experience has been extremely stressful and has left us with no option but to pursue through 3rd party action to protect our rights."
Trader reply: "Thank you for your feedback as it's very important to us. We value your comments as customer service is our priority. When the dropped kerb was discussed, I explained that I was waiting for the licence from the council. It was agreed that, as soon as the licence was received, I would return to complete the dropped kerb. This is why payment was only taken for the driveway works. Unfortunately, the council has taken longer than anticipated to issue the licence, and this delay is outside of my control. As soon as the licence is received, I will arrange to return and complete the remaining work."
