"I called Thanet Drainage as I had used them before. I was experiencing an issue where the house would sometimes smell of sewerage & worried that it was a big problem. I spoke with Simon & explained the smell was coming from a shared drainage system, he told me to call Southern Water they would review it free of charge, they came within 24hrs confirmed with a camera there was no blockage but not why there was the smell. I reverted to Simon at TD & he showed me exactly what the issue was, no U-Bend in the pipe that dropped to the main sewer, smells were able to return to the surface, we had an open sewer flowing underneath us. He detailed the work, time & cost, it was fair so we scheduled it. Today he returned with Connor & they resolved the issue, quickly & efficiently, no mess, no fuss, great communication throughout & detailed photos of the problem & solution. Professional, punctual, polite a fair price & easy to deal with, couldn't fault their work or attitude. Highly Recommended."

"We had an ongoing issue with a blocked pipe that went underneath the house. This blockage prevented the kitchen sink from draining, the washing machine flooded the garage and utility room and the dishwasher backed up into the sink. A plumber recommended Simon and the team at Thanet Drainage. They sorted the problem which was fantastic but above that they answered the phone, confirmed the appointment, called to say they were on their way, were polite and respectful which you don't always get. We felt the work was carried out to a high standard and we didn't feel overcharged by what was an emergency and stressful situation. Highly recommend and will use again if needed."
