"I would not recommend. We had a gas leak in our oven, I found the traders number on this website and called him. He confirmed it was from the hob so recommended we replace it. The trader recommended the hob, fit it and it worked ok. We then had our boiler serviced and the gas engineer said the leak was still there and that the trader should have checked this. I called the trader who stated it must be a faulty hob but that he would come round to check it (he also left no paperwork so we didn’t know what he had done). To get a replacement hob we need an instillation report which the trader said he would do today. We waited in all day for him to come and he didn’t, didn’t respond to my message and frankly could not be less interested. We have paid nearly £300 and have been without a hob for over a week."
Trader reply: "Thank you for your review. I would like to provide some additional context regarding the work carried out. The work I completed was the installation of a new gas hob supplied by the customer. The total charge for my first visit and the installation was £160. Following the installation, I carried out the required gas safety checks, including testing the gas supply and performing a tightness test. Both tests passed, and there were no signs of any leaks at the time of installation. Approximately 2.5 weeks later, I received a call from the customer advising that another company had attended to service the boiler and had reportedly identified a leak or fault relating to the hob. As the appliance had been supplied by the customer, I explained that there was a possibility the hob itself could have a manufacturing fault or defect and that this would need to be investigated by the appliance supplier or manufacturer. I always take safety seriously and ensure all appropriate tests are completed before leaving any installation. Had any issue been identified during my testing, the appliance would not have been left in service. Kind regards TDM Plumbing and Heating"

"Tom, was a personable, friendly and respectful boiler engineer and went about his way, diligently, methodically and professionally. Tom clearly knew his stuff and did a great job installing a new boiler. Would definitely recommend!!"

"Tom came to fit a new boiler for us last april and came out today to give it an annual service. his work is second to none. he arrived bang on time and is extremely tidy and efficient. we called him on monday and with 48 hours the visit was booked and completed. we highly reccommend him."
