Company Background:
Ian Bell formed Suffolk Mobility Solutions in 2020 after being made redundant after a 30-year career in the Builders merchant industry. Suffolk Mobility Solutions is one of the very few specialist companies set up specifically to carry out adaptions to your home to make life easier and safer.

Ian along with his wife Glynis, experienced a life-changing situation that caused them to decide to dedicate their experience to others who needed support and advice in very difficult times.
Glynis and Ian got married in October 2012. Just over 8 weeks later, ‘G’, (as Glynis likes to be called), suffered a stroke whilst they were visiting G’s daughter in America. From that day their lives changed and Ian started to understand the difficulties faced by people who have had sudden trauma.
They have learnt a lot in the past nine years about the adjustments that have to be made when living life confined to a wheelchair. Whilst Ian is not an expert in every type of disability, he and his team certainly empathise with anyone in a similar situation. Ian had required adaptions made to their house to enable them to continue living in what was always going to be their forever home.

- Mr & Mrs H live in a Park Home. They both had problems getting in and out of the bath so we replaced it with a walk in shower. This is a very quick solution to make their lives safer and easier

- This lovely couple from Martlesham found it hard to use their garden because of the stones so we replaced half with paving and half in grass. They are now able to enjoy their garden

He is a real daredevil and loved rolling down the slope but as he's registered blind this wasn't a) a safe activity and b) good for my blood pressure! I tried hard to find someone who was willing to take on the work of giving him a safe place to play at a price I could afford. Most contractors didn't want to take the job on, lots came out, quoted then were never heard from again. Not Ian and Suffolk Mobility, he came out, looked at the job in hand, gave a quote and got onto the job as soon as I gave the go ahead. The job was completed to a high standard, the team were punctual, polite, considerate and hard working. They left the site clean and tidy every day and worked their socks off to get the job done. I will be eternally grateful to them for giving my boy a safe place to play for years to come."

They refurbished our family bathroom, but they also work in other areas of the home. From start to finish we could not fault the professional way they planned, implemented and completed our job to a very high standard of finish. Ian and his staff were efficient and friendly and kept us informed throughout and all works were completed within the timeframe agreed. The disruption to our living space was minimal with all work areas of our home being kept very clean and tidy. They have an exceptional setup and are totally committed to providing a bespoke service to achieve a brilliant result. Individual needs are respected and good advice and help are offered to give the best outcome. Look no further. Mobility Solutions Ltd are the only company we would use for all our building needs."
