"He told me he didn’t know what was wrong and should never have done job but tried it anyway. He has ignored all correspondence avoid at all costs."
Trader reply: "Thank you for your feedback, customer service is something we prioritize. I did not charge the customer any labour and the job took the majority of 3 days of my time, off and on. I advised the customer not to drive the car as I would be attending to try and fix the problem, and then had to wait until the car was cool enough to work on. I also had to re arrange other jobs booked in to prioritise the customer. While I was replacing the thermostat (the only thing the customer paid for), I noticed it was leaking and saw that the previous remedial work completed by another mechanic possibly caused more problems. I did offer the customer her money back for the thermostat she paid for but became uncontactable when they moved."
