About SP Kitchens and Bathrooms - Bathroom Fitters in Leicester (LE4 2JB)
Hello, I'm Stuart Price from (SP Kitchens and Bathrooms.)
My number one trade is carpentry, which I've done since leaving school in 1976. I was placed on a three year apprenticeship with the company that I worked for, with a further two years of advanced craft following on from that. This amounts to five years of college training in addition to working with qualified tradesmen who taught me a lot of what I know.
After six years of working for that particular company, I went to work self employed, which I've done ever since.
In all that time, I have worked on every aspect of carpentry, specialised in office refurbishment and partitioning, kitchen fitting - which meant working as a MFI fitter for ten years, before concentrating mainly on bathroom fitting.
This amount of time in the trade has given me a wealth of knowledge and practical skills for dealing with both Commercial and Domestic projects and if you ask anyone that knows me, they will tell you that I am a totally reliable and trustworthy tradesman.
I have pride in my reputation for having both an excellent eye for detail and providing the best finish possible. I will always endeavour to do my best work, giving each job the attention to detail it deserves, while never cutting corners.
To me, giving great customer service and providing total job satisfaction are my primary aims.
Communicating with the customer and advising of recommendations so that you get the best job possible are also very important.
I handle both Domestic and Commercial projects, and consider no job too large, or too small. I always pride myself in the quality and finish of all my work.
Sometime ago, I was contracted to the Local Authority Council for a while where my work was strictly monitored by the clerk of works. My work consistently earned me high grades from the authority for high standard and excellent quality.
Now, as you can imagine, over the years I've built up an excellent knowledge of additional skills including:
- Painting and decorating
My carpentry background is an excellent foundation for the work I do now because I am good at fixing, fitting, levelling and giving attention to detail. These are essential requirements for any kitchen or bathroom job.
In my own words: "I am from the old school of tradesmen," so I take pride in my work and like to do a thorough job for my customers without cutting corners.
Please note that a good job takes extra time, but it's worth it. You can't have both a quick job and a thorough one - they don't go together. A good job takes longer to complete!
Why don't you call me for a friendly chat to discuss your requirements? Better still, send me an email to: firstname.lastname@example.org I guarantee a friendly, clean and tidy service.
While you're at it remember to check out my website for more pictures and information: www.kitchens-leicestershire.com
Now... you will notice by looking at my reviews that some people have marked me down for cleanliness. May I point out to you that I am one of the tidiest and most organised tradesmen around, but you can't have major work done without creating dust or introducing tools and equipment to the job.
If you have 100 year old plaster that needs knocking off, the dust inevitably carries through the air and lands on every surface available I'm afraid. There's nothing I can do about this and also remember, that it's your dust, not mine!
One other thing concerns the value for money. Some people have no idea of value for money. The one's that do value it, appreciate my communication skills, expert advice, attention to detail with no cutting corners and a thoroughly neat job that is well secured in every department.
I will give you my best work based on my skills and experience in the shortest time that I can do it in. Please bear in mind that I am no spring chicken anymore and I never work till late in the evenings, nor at weekends. I can only do what I can do in a normal working day at the pace that my body will allow.
Now for my requirements.
What I require from you is a part payment up front to be agreed between us, with the final payment on completion. I also expect you to fill in my feedback form for Trustatrader with the marks that are in line with the service and attention to detail that I pour into your job.
One other thing: I hate it when people try to barter and expect me to do more work for less money. It's all about appreciation and that's what I would like from you.
On that final note, I look forward to hearing from you. Now, why don't you allow me transform your kitchen or bathroom into something you will can proud of?
Please mention Trustatrader when calling. Thank you.

"Cannot recommend Stuart highly enough. He sent a clear quote very quickly, fitted in with our timescale, and met me at the bathroom supplier before he started so that I could confirm our choices. Started on time, let us know every day what time he'd be arriving and was always punctual. He cleaned up EVERY night before he went home, and actually made the minimum of mess even with tile cutting. He kept us informed all the way along, asking what we wanted, and providing advice when we needed it. Such a nice genuine guy that we felt able to leave him alone in the house, and towards the end when we had to leave before he arrived in the morning, we left him a key. Extremely trustworthy. The bathroom is absolutely beautiful, finished to a fabulous standard - exactly what we wanted. The bill was as expected, no extras other than the things we'd agreed. Thank you Stuart - was a pleasure to have you around, and we're delighted with the job."
