"I was charged £250.00 for a call out fee and as I couldn’t get hold of another plumber and assumed this was a normal price I accepted . We had a significant leak which needed to be fixed so I was desperate for a plumber to come out. I have since realised this fee was extremely high. I also feel that the amount I was charged for the 2 hours work the following day was a lot of money. I appreciate that this is just my opinion but I can say that at least the call out charge was extremely high. Also I have never encountered a tradesperson who insisted on half payment up front and then didn’t leave the property until the rest was paid."

While we appreciate you have an opinion, it is important for other customers to know that this is not a factual representation of our service. We have documented evidence proving you were fully informed of, and accepted, all costs—including the standard same-day attendance call-out fee—before we started the job. Our pricing was specific to the work requested, and our payment terms (50% deposit and 50% before departure) were agreed upon upfront. We also went above and beyond by fixing your tap and washing machine free of charge. In fact, you stated via messages that our work was of excellent quality. To suggest these terms were unexpected is simply not true. Given that we have proof of your prior agreement and satisfaction, we kindly ask that you either remove or amend this review to reflect the truth. We stand by our professional standards and the high-quality work delivered. Kind regards David"

"Fitting the shower screen was a bit awkward (due to the actual wall not being completely vertical) which caused a small gap I found between it and the wall. When I mentioned it he came around a couple of days later, no problem, and sealed it which has fixed the issue."
