At SMC Joinery we have been providing carpentry and joinery services to customers in Greater Manchester for over 14 years. As craftsmen with in-depth knowledge of our trade, we use a combination of traditional and modern methods to help each customer to achieve the finish they desire without compromising on quality.
We believe that all joinery should be done to the highest standards, whether its a feature staircase or hanging a door, or less visible elements such as timber frames. To this end, we conduct a consultation with each prospective customer so that we can accurately gauge their expectations, desired functionality, timescale and budget. This allows us to advise each customer of the best course of action based on their particular needs, and helps us to achieve high rates of customer satisfaction for our bespoke carpentry.

"We contacted trader to measure our door and make adjustments so our door can open and close once the new floor is installed as there was not enough space between the new floor and the door. Once trader finished the job, he would assure me that there would be enough space between the door and the floor, at the same time he showed me how the locks "fit perfectly as they did at first". Believing him, I made the mistake of not testing for myself if the locks fit as he showed me and I did not look in detail at the unevenness that he left on the door of our house. I called him, sent him messages, No answer. I called him from another number, We agreed that he would come that same day in the afternoon, he did not show up and also blocked my other phone number. I think that due to the lack of honesty, ethics and level of work, I would not recommend his work to anyone until the aforementioned is improved."

"I was desperate to have a bathroom door fitted after being let down. I saw sam on Facebook and messaged him, he respondedstraight away. He was able to do it for me. He did an excellent job. I am very pleased with his work and booked him to hang 6 more in a few weeks! Definitely recommend him!"
