We are specialists in Single Ply Flat Roof Systems.
A Single Ply Roof is a roof that has a single waterproof layer, such as EPDM (rubber), GRP (fibreglass), TPO & PVC, these are all the modern roof coverings and because they are a single layer this makes them a lot lighter than a build up of older bitumen and tar.
We have over 30 years experience working with single ply membranes, these membranes are far superior to older bitumen felt and tar, lasting up to six times longer 40+ years.
We also have extensive experience on all aspects of pitched roof services as follows:
- Tile and Slate repairs
- Dry Verge and Ridge installation
- Repointing and mortar work
- Chimney capping and Flaunching
- Fascia, Soffit and Guttering.....and more
All our fitters have multiple years experience which is backed up by training licenses, so you can be sure that your roof is in good hands with us .
We offer a 20 year guarantee on all new PVC or EPDM roof fitted, with up to 40% discount on adjoining roofs below:
- Houses
- Garages
- Porches
- Dormitory’s
- Conservatory’s
- Bay windows
Single Ply is by far the most widely used flat roofing waterproofing system in the new building sector today, it has proven over the last 20 years by industry professionals and clients that it is simply the best solution and makes Single Ply membranes the most widely used flat roofing material.
We also specialise in Asbestos removal and we also have a full time team who specialise in all types of wooden and timber fencing and decking from minor repairs to full size projects.
Insulation - Single Ply membranes with longer lifespans are ideal solutions when upgrading or replacing aging or defective flat roofs. When combined with high performance PIR insulation products such as our xtratherm flat roof board. When installed makes your winter warmer and your summers cooler. This helps reduces energy costs.
Another unique solution is to turn your flat roof into what’s called a “living roof” by having it covered with a layer of soil, plants and grass. For the eco-conscious homeowner, you can cover your roof with soil, plants and grass giving you the ultimate “green” solution.
Whether you are looking for a full re-roof or minor repairs and general maintenance we apply the same standards to all of our work no matter how big or small the job. We believe that everyone should receive a great service that will protect their property for many years.

Lisa - Image 1 "I've tried to upload more than one photo. I'm absolutely thrilled with the finished job front and back. They did my soffits, fascias, gutters and drainpipes, replaced a cracked roof tile and repaired some lead flashing. These guys were fantastic. Professional with a fun edge. It's always daunting to choose someone to do a job like this but I chose the right company. Completed in 2 days and tranformed the look of my home. I highly recommend Eddie and Fish to anyone looking for the best job and I'm happy to confirm that to anyone who is in doubt that this is the company to choose. Ask Eddie for my number if you need to. Come and look at their work. Thanks guys, you're ace! Lisa"

"Eddie and fish were fantastic, they replaced our old leaking foam filled garage roof with a lovely new one all roofing was coated with anti condensation coating and finished to a high standard, they also put a new polycarbonate roof on our carport, again done to a high standard, very punctual, clean and tidy. Cannot recommend these guys enough, very pleased with the work done. Took 3 days in total and they removed everything."

Review by Paul Petty
on 14th February 2025
Paul Petty - Image 1 "Won’t return calls. I was initially happy with the work, but someone later pointed out that the wrong size timber had been used, not what we were quoted for. The quote specified 4" posts and 6x2 timber for the roof, yet 3" posts and 3x2 timber were used instead. with the current structure of the work, I'm not sure it will last the winter. I would not recommend."
Trader reply: "Thank you for your feedback as it's very important to us. We value your comments as customer service is our priority. Yes The quote given was for 4 inch posts to be used , but with shape of the curb edgings on the driveway it wasn’t really possible for 4 inch posts to fit , plus it wasn’t really necessary for 4 inch posts to be used as 3 inch posts were easily strong enough to hold up the structure , and 3 inch posts were ultimately agreed upon with the customer. The cross sections of the main structure are 3 x 2 inches, but the 2 ends of the cross sections are 6 x 2 inches like what was stated in the original quote. The structure was inspected and signed off by the customer, I have guaranteed the structure and roof covering against failure and I will honour that guarantee if necessary. I am assuring the customer that it will last the winter, and I assure the customer that if it doesn’t then I will gladly come out and carry out any repairs necessary. Kind Regards Single Ply UK."
