"Kieran carried out work for me to replace an old stopcock and fit a couple of stops valves. The stopcock was a bit of a bugger but he persevered and eventually succeeded. His price was reasonable and I would definitely use him again. Great beard too!"

"Highly disappointing experience with Simply Plumbing. Surprising as I’ve used them before with minimal issue. On this occasion completely different. Initially Simply Plumbing charged a standard £75 inspection fee. All fine, paid in good faith, assuming it would lead to a productive follow up visit. Instead, it went completely silent for a week. My follow-ups were not responded to. When I chased again, it was claimed that they were waiting on a supplier. It took nearly two weeks just to identify the part—not even order it. Mind you, this is costing money in terms of water bill as it relates to an internal toilet leak. When they finally replied, the message was completely unapologetic. I feel the quote was heavily inflated: a £75 'sourcing fee' that matched the £75 physical labour charge. The valve itself was heavily marked up to £60 (usually under £35). When questioned, it was claimed they previously waived this fee as a favour, which was never mentioned at the time. I found the attitude to be indifferent and hostile. I will not choose to use them again."
