"I have no hesitation in recommending Settle Preservation. I had a very worrying problem with a damp wall in a fairly recent extension and contacted Karen to arrange a visit as well as getting in touch with a large company who visited. They struggled to diagnose the problem and came up with a very expensive solution. I spoke to Craig after this and he was very helpful and reassuring. In the end Craig didn't visit as the problem wasn't a damp issue but a construction fault which is hopefully going to be corrected at a fraction of the price quoted by the large company. Karen and Craig at Settle Preservation are honest and trustworthy and should I have a problem with damp in the future they will be the first people I call."

"from initial meeting to end of work I felt that they knew what was required to complete the job successfully. Good to have personal contact with all staff involved and the office staff kept me upto date while I was waiting for the work to be started."

"Settle preservation came recommended to me through a friend who had work done previously. Karen, I spoke to first was prompt on my contact and arranged a call to discuss my concerns. Craig then came to my home to assess the cause of the damp and mould I have been experiencing. Craig was polite, professional and friendly. He did a thorough survey inspection and found the problem, he explained the process of damp and mould and contributing factors then simple things I could do to help every day to help and recommended It would be beneficial for a Piv Fan installing which he has arranged. I am very pleased with the service and would highly recommend."
