"Our favourite contractor. Craig and Co., treated the downstairs and loft for woodworm, cleared the loft and relayed new insulation. He gave us a lot of very useful damp, drainage, condensation,.and pointing advice and is extremely knowledgeable about building construction and preservation. He is very reassuring when dealing with scary issues like damp and woodworm, and delivers very punctual, thorough and tidy work, and refunded us for the leftover insulation material, pricing is also fair and we felt he is extremely trustworthy. Will happily and actively recommend and we will definitely use them for future work."

"I have no hesitation in recommending Settle Preservation. I had a very worrying problem with a damp wall in a fairly recent extension and contacted Karen to arrange a visit as well as getting in touch with a large company who visited. They struggled to diagnose the problem and came up with a very expensive solution. I spoke to Craig after this and he was very helpful and reassuring. In the end Craig didn't visit as the problem wasn't a damp issue but a construction fault which is hopefully going to be corrected at a fraction of the price quoted by the large company. Karen and Craig at Settle Preservation are honest and trustworthy and should I have a problem with damp in the future they will be the first people I call."

"from initial meeting to end of work I felt that they knew what was required to complete the job successfully. Good to have personal contact with all staff involved and the office staff kept me upto date while I was waiting for the work to be started."
