Jenna - Image 1 "Highly Recommended!!! Rory was really professional, friendly, clean working and completed the project in the time frame he advised at the outset (which we have found is not always the case with other builders). He checked in on the part he knew was important to us before completing them and the finishing touches which we really appreciated. Without a doubt we will be contacting Rory for any future building works and recommend you do as well!"

on 6th January 2025
"Not sure where to begin I was given the date to start Monday the 6 th January 2025 and was told it would take about 6 weeks possible 8 weeks depending on excess to materials. The job was finished around the second week of June 5 1/2 months. I had weeks were nothing was done, and the trader was on others jobs The extension was only 4x3 meters. However, the trader organised for the concrete floor to be laid , in my opinion late in the job And it was 2ins higher than the original existing floor . When I pointed this out to the trader, he said it’s fine the person who lays your new wooden floor. Will self level this was incorrect information. I am now left with a very uneven floor outside. The trader has put my existing slabs back. He has left cracked slabs fix cement on them and replaced the step going out of my Patio door. The step is falling apart and he hasn’t responded to my texts I feel very letdown paid him the full amount on time."
Trader reply: "Thank you for your feedback as it's very important to us. We value your comments as customer service is our priority. The job in question was contracted to last between 3-6 months and was completed in that time frame. The customer changed the size of build, which caused a few problems with the pitch of the roof etc which I paid for, along with the VAT on the ungraded aluminium door she requested and extra sockets and external lights to help her with costs. I had a professional floor layer install the floor at the correct stage of the job - which has passed all building regs, there was a patch done where a small section of wall had been removed, but as she was having Luxury Vinyl Tile it would all need to be levelled prior to installation. It wasn’t until two months after the job was completed that I was contacted regarding an issue with a slab. This job was completed completely within the initial quotation and while it took longer than I would have liked it was still within the parameters we initially discussed. If you have any after sales questions then please do not hesitate to contact us, Kind regards RSC Building and Joinery."
