About R M Tomlin & Sons - Builders in Tring, HP23 4PE
R M Tomlin and Sons 1975-2015 40 years of bespoke building works
A different kind of experience
The business was set up by my father we worked closely together for nearly 25 years until he retired in 2000, our master carpenter Kevin has been part of the team since 1986.
My apologies if this sounds blunt but if your looking for a cheap job R M Tomlin & Sons are not the company for you. Our focus is to provide very high quality building works with unrivaled attention to detail and first class customer service and unlike many of our contemporaries we are very tidy.
We provide probably the most detailed estimates you will come across with plenty of experienced and professional project advice, of course all this costs more money but you get what you pay for.
We believe that when you look back at your whole experience and the quality of the works that will last for years to come you will agree it was worth every penny, so if you are looking for a different kind of experience give us a call.

"Graham and his team Kevin & Nev are wonderful builders. We asked Graham to build a 2 storey rear extension and front porch to extend our 3 bed detached to have a 5 bed with open plan living and to transform all other rooms and bathrooms. We chose Graham for our project after observing the excellent extension they carried out across the road from us. If there was a higher star rating than 5, we would definitely give them a 10 because of their standard of work. They work as a team and are on site at 7am and stay until 4pm daily. They do not take on other works whilst on the project. They work with passion and high standards. Thank you"

"Although not the cheapest in the market, their overall work ethic and commitment to the smallest detail makes them an excellent bargain."

"My son recommended Graham to me, as he was so pleased with the quality work they had done for him. Mine was a large conversion into a gym and a new triple garage which had to be of the highest standard to blend in with the present structure. I was not disappointed, the work was excellent, fabulous quality, always turned up on time, and at least someone from the company was on site every single day. They were really friendly people and they even added details I had not thought of to ensure everything blended in with the original house. Best builder I have ever dealt with, would recommend them every time. Although they are not the cheapest and do not purport to be, they are well worth the money. Brilliant."
