I am Richard Burke - Local Handyman, a family man from Ilkeston. Having been a Civil Engineer for 12 years, I grew tired of red tape policies surrounding the building site work. I have been in and out of the building trade all my working life and have always done my own renovations and helped friends and family do theirs, from bathrooms to patios and most things in between.

I have experience of working on schools, supermarkets, housing, town halls, colleges, doctors’ surgeries, industrial and retail units, as well as heritage work. Always on time and at a very reasonable price. I am happy to take on most handyman services to people throughout Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.

    "Richard did two pieces of excellent paving work for me. At the planning stage he had better design ideas than me, was good at discussing pros and cons and considered ways of keeping costs down. His daughter helped out on the second day and they were both highly organised and efficient and a joy to have around. The finished job was perfect and a huge improvement to my garden. Thank you. Richard is now officially my top estates and maintainance consultant!"
