Deborah - Image 1 "Alec decorated our living room for us, including all the painted woodwork surfaces. He was recommended by a friend and we had already seen his excellent work first hand in her house. Such a lovely guy, reliable, kind, friendly, helpful, and he put up with our dog jumping all over him too! Arrived very promptly in the mornings and worked with hardly a break all day. Just got on with it. Left everything very clean and tidy in the evenings too before returning next day. Got all the paint for us and quoted a good, very reasonable price for all materials and labour. Our room was really grubby from having had an open fire and then a wood burner, and we love burning candles too, so he certainly had his work cut out making it look like new again. Walls were all sanded pre painting, woodwork sanded, repaired/ filled defects, primed and top coated to perfection. Very happy with end result. Happy to recommend him and would’nt have anyone else now for future decorating work."

"Alec is an excellent decorator. We've used him on a previous occasion to decorate a nursery and on this occassion he came in and decorated 7 rooms after a major refurbish. Alec was very clear in his communication and listened to our needs. He was clear about the plan, arrived on time every day and we were very comfortable having him in our house. What we love most about Alec is his obvious knowledge of his craft and attention to detail. His charges are more than fair for what he delivers. We would definitely use him again and again for future projects."
