"We carefully chose our main contractor when seeking a loft conversion back last summer (2025). Jon struck us from outset with his level of knowledge and experience and absolute safety first way of working. The team that Jon built around him, from those on site day to day to trades people only delivering their part of the project were all expertly managed and were all as equally polite and respectful of our home environment (busy with children and dogs). Jon and team are trustworthy, knowledgable and provided both ideas and know how to complete the job in the time they initially estimated. Overall, I would recommend Jon and he will make your project ideas come to life. Very happy with the end result."

"R&J did our extension in 2022 + later kitchen floor / kitchen units replacement in 2025 in Hitchin - very happy with the service from end-to-end - honest and direct, and a friendly team. Creative solutions to any problems which came up, speedy once on site, and no real issues / surprises since - it's all solidly built. Even sorted out some awkward roof design problems which the architect left unsolved. Would recommend."
