Hello, I’m Peter from PWD Plastering. Although we officially opened our doors in 2005, I began my plastering journey back in 1995, learning the ropes from my father, who spent 32 years as a plastering lecturer at Cambuslang/South Lanarkshire College. His expertise gave me a solid foundation in the trade, setting the stage for the business we run today.

We specialise in all aspects of interior plastering—from small patching jobs to large-scale renovations. Our services include undercoating, plaster boarding, finishing, and decorative coving work. We tailor each project to meet your specific requirements, ensuring a seamless finish every time.

I’m proud to be a British Gypsum Certified Plasterer, which means most of our work comes with a two-year guarantee backed by British Gypsum. I’m also delighted to share that I was named British Gypsum Smoothie (Plasterer of the Month) in February 2016.

I found PWD Plastering through the platform to have a window in one room and a wall in another which had been affected by water ingress from a leaking roof. I reached out and quickly got a response, asking for more details. I was able to send pictures over WhatsApp of the work I wanted to have done, and even got a price estimate right then. Peter let me know the time range he'd be round, and then another update when he was about to set off. He's a lovely guy, and he got straight to work. I was impressed with the amount of sheets used to keep the house tidy, hardly any dust around the place. Did a super neat job, edges look crisp as anything. He sent me a link to suitable paint to put on fresh plaster, gave me instructions on how to best take care of it afterwards. He even patched up a couple of cracks that he spotted outside the job area! 10/10 work, if I need any more plastering I will know where to look :)"

    "We had our Artex ceiling removed and the asbestos removal guys didn’t tell us they were going to remove the whole ceiling, not just the Artex. Contacted Peter and he came out promptly, gave us a good price and was able to get in within a couple of weeks (no small feat given Christmas was in the middle!). He was polite, professional, accomodating, and even patched up a few minor holes we had with some extra plaster he had from the ceiling. Quality of the work was great. I’ve saved his number for all my future plastering work."
