    "We recently hired Tom to knock down the wall between our kitchen and dining room, install a new patio door, fit a radiator, and remove and block up the existing back door. From start to finish, Tom was brilliant. His communication throughout the job was clear and consistent, keeping us updated every step of the way. The quality of his workmanship is excellent — the finish is to a very high standard, and we’re delighted with the end result. He’s polite, professional, and always leaves his work area as tidy as possible before heading off each evening. It’s clear he takes real pride in his work. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Tom to anyone looking for a reliable and skilled builder."

    "We had 2 cupboards and fitted wardrobe removed, 2 doors sealed over and plastered, plug sockets moved/installed, a wall removed and the ceiling and walls plastered. Our service was very professional, great communication right from the beginning of even organising an estimate and throughout the job. Tom was very punctual, true to his word and completed the work requested to a high standard, leaving us with exactly what we wanted, plus a couple of little extra finishing touches added on top."

    Gordon - Image 1 "I am delighted to be able to provide this review. Having had problems with creaking floors for a number of years and with the problem worsening over time we finally decided to address the situation. From the outset it was actually difficult to get any builders/joiners to show any interest. We then turned to Trustatrader where we came across Tom of Polworth Renovations. Having read the many reviews and appreciating Trustatrader's guarantee, we asked Tom if he could help. With the reply " I would be happy to help" Tom visited us and explained what he thought was the problem (he couldn't be 100% sure until he lifted the floorboards). We agreed a price and long story short, he was dead right re the problem, sorted it, kept us posted on a daily basis. Kept to his timescale and basically happy days. Well done Tom and Ryan. Without doubt to be recommended."

    "We had a complex extension (glazed covering for an external courtyard) to incorporate it into the loving space of the house - it took about 6 months and involved coordination with several other professional, such as steelworkers, glazers, electrician and roofers - all of which Tom liaised for on behalf of us and with us. Nothing was ever a problem. Logistic or aesthetic changes throughout the project (of which we made a few) were never an issue. Tom never said anything ‘couldn’t be done’ - he’d always find a solution. We would recommend Tom in a heartbeat - because yes, he’s a great builder (and plumber and joiner) but also because when someone is in your house for several months at a time, you want to make sure they’re sound people, and Tom (and Jack) are exactly that! Thank you for transforming our house - we love the new space! J&L"
