Taking care of your guttering can save you time and money in the long run by helping to prevent staining and damage to the exterior of your building and structural damage caused by damp.
Based in Rayleigh, Mike Horizon Roofing Ltd is a trusted, professional, family-run, reliable fascias, soffits and guttering specialist.
Our skilled traders have over 32 years' experience in the repair, maintenance and installation of fascias, soffits and guttering. We guarantee a friendly, clean and tidy service and pride ourselves on our reputation for being prompt, punctual and professional.
Fascias, soffits and guttering are frequently overlooked. However, their purpose is much more than cosmetic. Guttering is vital to redirect run-off from your roof which is an average of 500 gallons for an inch of rainfall! Without effective guttering this water can run down the exterior of your property damaging the walls, windows and doors and causing staining. If water isn’t properly drained away it can sit at the base of your property, seeping into the foundations and causing damp. Mike Horizon Roofing Ltd is on hand to clean, repair and install new guttering to make sure your property looks good and is protected from rain.
** Whether you are looking for full gutter fitting, clearing and maintenance or roof repairs, we consider no job too big or too small and offer a range of services including:

"They did not use the estimated material sizes, and did not say anything until he had seen me looking at materials being used. I was not told before job was finished . He stated he had saved me money and apparently the final cost was less than it would have been. On the plus side they did a decent tidy job"
Trader reply: "The boards used differed from those in the estimate because the specified boards were load-bearing and would only have been required if the existing boards were removed. As the existing boards were suitable to remain, we recommended overboarding. Their wide gaps could have allowed adhesive into the loft, and using the specified materials directly over them would not have provided the best finish. I explained that overboarding would also save money, and it did, as the thinner boards cost considerably less per square metre than the load-bearing boards. The client asked about board thickness. I explained it was 11mm or 12mm and said I would confirm. I accept I failed to call back that day, but the client contacted me the following day. This was the second call, not three. I also clarified the estimate, including VAT, which clearly stated that prices were plus VAT. Finally, after completion, the client asked me to quote for his garage roof, suggesting the working relationship appeared satisfactory at the time. Kind regards Mike Horizon Roofing Ltd"

"Mike and his team were brilliant from start to finish. They replaced the verge on my house, which was a bit of a mess. Now thanks to them, it looks brilliant. Mike sorted everything from the scaffolding to the materials needed. There was no stress what so ever. Definitely use this company if you need any roofing work done."
