"I booked a plumber for a semi-urgent job for leaking expansion vessel. The booking was seamless and professional. The engineer arrived at my property at 10:05 and finished 12:05 and to my surprise he charged me for 3 hours saying it was even more than 3 hours on his timer. I feel that the whole job should not have taken more than 1 hour and may be another 30 minutes to bring the replacements. The plumber made multiple trips to the van to bring things, when I feel that he should know what is needed for the job. They charged x3 the price of the replacement. Their hourly rate was higher than the local plumbers, but I booked them due to non-availability of others. I feel the job was done but at extremely slow pace. Due to my experience, I would not recommend this company."

Our engineer attended promptly, replaced the faulty expansion vessel, carrying out all necessary work to ensure the heating system was operating safely and correctly. This included isolating and draining the system, fitting the new part, refilling, repressurising, testing, checking for leaks and confirming everything was operating correctly before leaving. The time charged reflects the engineer's attendance from arrival to completion, carrying out all testing and commissioning. Our rates are standard prices, we aim to provide qualified engineers, quality workmanship and a fully insured service. We are sorry we did not meet your expectations on this occasion and thank you for your feedback, which we will review internally."

"We needed our gas turning on ASAP, and several people weren't available because of the heat, but these guys called me straight away, we organised a visit within 2 hours - which was actually closer to an hour - and then got a call from the engineer to tell me he was on his way. The engineer Dan was incredibly helpful and friendly; such a nice bloke, and sorted the issue efficiently. Massive thumbs up all round."

"I had a badly blocked kitchen sink and called Mayfair Plumbers. Andrew came out and absolutely exceeded expectations. He explained what had caused the blockage, fixed it efficiently and made sure everything was spotless before leaving. His professionalism and friendly attitude made the whole experience stress-free. I will definitely be using Mayfair Plumbers again."
