We have a good working relationship with the local authority Building Inspectors, and we will liase with them on our customers behalf throughout the job.

Once you have instructed us to undertake your building project, we will arrange all of the experienced trades persons needed to complete your project to a high standard.

We offer well laid out & detailed written quotation, listing all of what is involved and including every thing needed to complete your project. What we quote you is what you pay, unless you request a change or alteration.

The same staff are on site every day from start to finish, so you have the same people to talk to about any concerns you may have every day giving you peace of mind that any instruction you issue will be carried out.

Our experience and time in the business ensures that all of our customers are very happy with us and with our quality of work, and this is shown by some of our customers handing us their property and moving out for the duration of the work or even going away on holiday and leaving us to carry on the work whilst they are away, knowing that they have employed a company they can trust.

    "Firstly, for anyone who tried to get hold of Mark for the second half of 2021, apologies as he was at ours for pretty much the entire time! We needed a full house renovation and right from the start, Mark was amazing. We went through the plans with him, none of our plans fazed him and everything was achievable. The quote was within our budget and Mark was with us for roughly seven months. There were multiple surprises along the way (the house had been untouched for many years and many extensions and conversions had been tacked on) but both Mark and Gary were just excellent. They were incredibly professional as well as keeping us well informed on everything that needed doing. Their attention to detail and cleanliness was impeccable, even putting up a fake wall in a room so we could hide away from the works. They took away so much of the stress and honestly we could not have asked for better builders"

    "We had a new picture window put into an existing brick wall. They completed all the work from the outside and put in the new window before cutting through the plasterboard which had lined the internal wall. This significantly reduced the dust in the house. The final finish is first class and I would certainly recommend them based on my experience."

    "We found Mark through a recommendation. Our work was a full external and internal refurb with an extension. The project was significant in terms of cost and time taken to complete, but we couldn't be happier with the end result. Mark and his small team are very porfessional in all matters; from initial quotation, through planning, all the building works, and contractor liaisons. Inevitably with a project of this size, one encounters the unexpected, which affect both the timetable and the cost, but Mark kept us well-informed, laid out of all the options, was tancious with suppliers and contractors and was never inclined to 'cut corners' to make his life easier. If you are looking for high quality work at a fair price then I'd say look no further."

    "Mark at MDG initially refurbished my cloakroom and bathroom and did a brilliant job, therefore, when planning a full kitchen/dining extension I invited him to quote. The quote came within my budget but Mark was busy and I had to wait for him to start and I am so pleased I did. Good builders are worth waiting for. He and Gary were punctual every day and worked extremely hard. They both have a very good work ethic with each just getting on with their respective jobs on the build. Mark was also very considerate in making sure I was inconvenienced as little as possible, especially at the 'knock through' stage and kitchen fitting. I was always consulted at every stage to make sure I was happy with how thinks we're going. The redesign of the garden came within the job too and this exceeded my expectations. They have left the outside very clean and tidy too. Now that the build is complete I am more than happy and have him lined up for another little job too. I would certainly recommend him."
