Lumos PV Power Systems can help homes and workplaces to capitalise on solar and Octopus Energy night tariffs and in the process, save money in an eco-friendly way. There’s solid government backing for the power systems Lumos PV Power Systems offer, meaning that you can currently have one installed especially cost-effectively. There is no VAT on our installations, and we are also certified by GivEnergy as an installer.
With the current increase in electricity costs and state of the art solar technology, we think it’s the right time to consider solar energy.
Using solar technology, we can harvest free energy from the sun and use it for the following:
- Renewable energy can be used as an onsite power source to decrease energy costs
- Power can be directed to EV charging for cars, vans and lorries etc.
- Onsite battery backup for use in on peak and off-peak times.
- Emergency storage backup in an event of total power failure. For our commercial solution we offer a CT unit that automatically switches in less than 15 milli seconds to the prioritised central circuits ensuring undisturbed power supply. We have an essential circuit option to keep home offices, freezers etc functioning when a power cut occurs.
- Any excess energy can be fed back to the grid.
A three-year guarantee is provided as standard on each of these systems, many of which are new to the market and not easily available in the Oxfordshire, Witney and Cotswolds areas.

"Joe and Matthew were excellent from start to finish. Really helpful in the quote process and in coming to have a look at the property to advise on best scheme. They were responsive over email and dealt with changes of request easily. When the work was booked they managed it really well and on time. Joe has also been helpful subsequently with advice and guidance on how to get the best from our PV system and set up. We cannot recommend them highly enough."

We were impressed with his initial proposal, which was detailed and thorough. He impressed us further when answering all our questions with honesty and integrity. Our contract negotiation was straightforward and we found his quote both reasonable and of excellent value. When it came to the installation of the panels, etc., he and his roofers worked like trojans, they kept to the agreed dates, were punctual, neat and tidy and completed the project on time and money.
