Lucking Utility Services Limited have been helping customers in Colchester and the surrounding area by providing professional, trustworthy building services.
We have worked with some of the UK’s largest utility and construction contractors repairing and maintaining the water infrastructure across London and the Home Counties. Many years of experience have provided us with the skills and knowledge necessary to complete a variety of works varying from water mains replacement to excavation projects.
We specialise in pre-works surveys, excavation, utility installations, backfill and reinstatement, providing a complete in-house solution.
Credibly networked throughout the utility and construction industry, we have additional support available should any job require a specialist service we cannot directly deliver.
We currently work within the Thames Water, Essex & Suffolk Water, Affinity Water, Southern Water, SES Water, SEW Water, Cambridge Water and Anglian Water regions; however work further afield will always be considered.

"Lucking Utility Services were first class from start to finish. They communicated well, checked with us on extras, explained at each stage of replacing our mains water pipe what was happening. They left our garden brick patio and path exactly as it had been after digging. We got a comprehensive report and follow up to assure us the work would be accepted by Thames Water. It’s a great company!"

Chris - Image 1 "From start to finish, Lucking Utility Services were prompt, efficient and professional throughout. They worked to the schedule, were punctual and after reinstating necessary holes they had to made, they also removed all surplus materials and rubbish."

Richard Pell - Image 1 "Completed an online request for a quote to replace our water supply pipe. Received a call back from them within an hour, to discuss what what we required. Quote received in 3 days of sending them photos and video of our property and the route for the new pipe. I had no experience of Lucking, but was impressed with the initial contact, plus they didn't ask for payment upfront. The price was competitive to other quotes, so a date and time was agreed with them. They arrived as agreed and the job was completed in two days as quoted, with no fuss and little mess. The guys worked very hard with out complaint, especially as there were some very challenging ground conditions."
