Hello! We’re Steven and Karen – a local, family-run business based in Biscovey. Together, we are Kernow Clever Clean, your friendly, professional external property cleaning specialists serving all of Cornwall and much of Devon.

Our name, Kernow Clever Clean, reflects both our Cornish roots and our love for soft washing – a smart, effective method that makes surfaces look like new again (it really does feel like magic!).

Steven handles the practical side (like roof cleaning), while Karen takes care of the technical and administrative bits (like managing our website and customer support). It’s a true team effort!     "Excellent service through out. From start to finish this company seemed professional and trustworthy. They contacted me and gave me a quote and explained everything they could do. I sent photos of a couple of issues I had and they said they could deal with it all. They arrived as arranged on the day and got straight to work. Everything we discussed was taken care of and I cannot fault anything. They left my guttering clear and clean and I was very happy with the result. No deposit to pay, no empty promises just a good company doing good work. I fully recommend them and the service they provide."

    "Steve is highly skilled and professional. He is always courteous and completes the work on time or earlier, and within the agreed budget. He is an excellent problem-solver as well, quickly and efficiently dealing with any issues. After hiring him once, he was the first person we turned to for two further projects.     Kim - Image 1 "Replied in good time to my enquiry, came and gave us a quote and allowed us to decide. I phoned them back and booked a date. Arrived on time, and they use their own scaffolding, which saved us having to get it installed. No climbing on the roof to clean it, so no damage to the roof or breakage of tiles. Scraped all the moss off the roof, then treated the roof to kill off any bits left. Cleaned the gutters, soffits and fascia's, and soft washed all the walls, window surrounds, etc. Steven worked very cleanly for such a messy job, and was very reasonably priced considering the amount of work involved. Having used this company before (and that clean lasted 5 years) I would thoroughly recommend them. Very professional."
