JV Brickwork & Pointing specialises in all aspects of Brickwork and Pointing with our work base covering St Albans and Chichester and the surrounding areas within a 20 mile radius of both of these cities.
Over the past 30 years we have carried out a wide range of maintenance, restoration, alteration and construction work on both modern and traditional buildings and other brick-built structures. Our aim is to provide a professional service satisfying our customers individual requirements whilst making improvements to the appearance and longevity of any construction work or brickwork we undertake.

"In a word - EXCELLANT. I've been a home-owner for~20 years and Jason (and Chris) is the best trades person I can remember. Quite guy. Very considerate and obliging. Very good communication, keeping you up-to-date re work dates and scaffolding, etc. Very pleased with his quality of work. Very high attention to detail and hard worker. I've attached the repointing work he completed on the 1st floor, which I think looks very smart and matches existing pointing (unfortunately I didn't take a "before" photo). "Jason did a wonderful job repointing the parapet walls around our garage and porch roofs. He quoted for a "menu" of work which depended upon how much was found to be necessary as he progressed, as it was not certain whether the coping stones would all need to be lifted and or replaced. We were very happy with this approach and in the end he was able to re-bed the existing stones and replace just a few bricks in addition to repointing the brickwork and this was fairly reflected in his final bill. Jason is a very tidy worker and took a lot of care to protect our windows and garden plants and to minimise dust blow despite the strong winds which could have been a real nuisance to ourselves and our neighbours. He left everything very tidy at the end of each day. Jason kept us informed of progress and checked that we were happy with his plans as he went along. We would thoroughly recommend him. Pointing is an undervalued skill but Jason is a true master at it."
