Johnson Motors first opened for business in 1989, and have been serving Watford and the surrounding areas ever since.
We started off as a motor spares shop in Croxley, supplying and fitting batteries and starter motors. We then bought Johnson Motors in 1989 taking a rundown business and building it up over time.
Throughout the years we have built up a good client base in Croxley, Rickmansworth, Watford and the surrounding areas.
We put an emphasis on quality whether it be workmanship or the customer service we provide. We conduct a full valet on full services and major repairs, which set us aside from many other garages.
Sending our staff out for the latest training, along with using the latest diagnostic fault finding equipment to find solutions to tricky problems as quickly as possible.
We have recently moved to new premises which is bigger and has better facilities than before, allowing us to undertake more work and take a modern approach to fixing your vehicle.

"I Wanted to find a local independent garage to look after my Lexus I had just purchased. It needed some suspension parts supplied by the previous owner and a new spare wheel tyre. I was quoted within 10 mins and the job was dons on the allocated day. Once I picked the car up, I asked if they did bodywork as I had a couple of scratches which I had been quoted a couple of hundred pounds to repair from other companies. He took a look and within 5 mins polished them out!! unbelievable service and honesty. They also quoted and fitted a battery which was found to be failing the next day! Best garage I have ever used and I have used a few over my 40+ years of owning cars. Lovely people"

"Booked my car in for an MOT online. I chose this garage because it’s local and had positive customer reviews. I was contacted by the garage soon after to confirm the date and time. On the day the lady at reception was very welcoming and my car was taken on time and returned just over an hour later. Pleased that it passed without any extra work or expense. Will consider using this garage again for servicing."

"car needed bodyshop work. Very pleased with results. MOT and service done too, better than my dealer. Car was returned washed and clean. Had been looking for someone to do bodyshop work on the car, and got mostly outrageous quotes. So good to get an affordable quote. Appreciated the "no problem" attitude to requests. Work done in a timely fashion. I recommend this garage. Will return."
