The quality of the workmanship is excellent, and the wardrobes look amazing. They clearly take pride in their work and paid attention to every detail. What impressed me most was how clean and considerate they were throughout the job. They kept the house tidy, caused very little disruption, and worked around my schedule, which made the whole process easy and stress-free. John and his team were professional, reliable and hardworking from start to finish. The quality of the workmanship is excellent and the finish throughout has been completed to a very high standard. John was great to deal with, kept us updated throughout, and his team were always respectful, tidy and easy to have around. It is clear they take real pride in their work and that shows in the final result. The extension has completely transformed the back of our house and we could not be happier. Shaneece Davidson - Image 1 "I recently had barn doors installed at my house, &as a single woman I was quite nervous about having work carried out on my property. From the very beginning, John&his team at JM Plastering were incredibly professional, respectful&reassuring, which immediately put me at ease. They explained everything clearly, arrived when they said they would, and worked in a very tidy and organised way throughout the job. It can be daunting inviting people into your home for work like this, but John and his team were trustworthy, polite, and genuinely pleasant to deal with. The quality of the work speaks for itself. The barn doors look fantastic and have completely transformed the space. The finish is excellent and the attention to detail is clear. I’m so glad I chose JM Plastering for this job and would highly recommend John and his team to anyone, especially if you’re feeling a bit unsure about having work done at home. They made the whole experience stress-free and delivered a brilliant result."

"The trader originally did a very nice job plastering our small front room, so I asked him back to do our hall, stairs and landing. The plastering was poorly done, there were lots of bumps and ridges in the plastering that the trader assured me would be sorted by the decorator. However, the decorator he employed (although a lovely man) was not very good at painting/decorating. The ripples in the walls never disappeared. The woodwork was not properly sanded down before painting. The cutting in was awful. I have taken 2 weeks annual leave to do the job myself and correct the poor workmanship. I’ve had to sand the walls down. None of the woodwork is smooth, so I’ve had to sand that down too. We paid nearly £4k for this job, and I’m doing it all myself again. When I discussed all of this with the trader, he said he would come and see the job - he never did. Such a shame, when I’m not a professional and I am doing a better job than the men I paid £4k to do it."
Trader reply: "I wanted to respond to your concerns regarding the plastering and painting work. From our side, we’re confident that both the plastering and the painting we carried out were completed to a good standard. However, throughout the job there were several instances where the scope of work changed while we were off-site. In particular, with the bannisters, we had agreed they would be sanded and painted. When we returned, they had been stripped back to bare wood, which significantly altered the work required. This happened on more than one occasion, where areas we had worked on were changed or reworked overnight. Because of these ongoing changes, it made it difficult for us to maintain consistency and complete the work as originally agreed. We always aim to deliver a high-quality finish and work closely with our customers, but unexpected alterations during the job do impact the final outcome. If you’d like to discuss this further, we’re happy to talk it through and find a way forward."
