Jim Cleary Decorators is a small family run business based in Galleywood, Chelmsford, with more than 30 years experience in Painting and Decorating. We offer a professional service throughout Essex, by a City and Guilds qualified decorator.
23 years experience as a scenic painter in the television and film industry enables us to offer a wide range of specialist finishes. A full portfolio of films and TV programmes worked on is available on request.
All our work is supported with full Public Liability Insurance and a personal guarantee offering complete customer satisfaction. We are non smokers.
We offers a complete range of decorating services, with a wide selection of finishes for both interior and exterior work.

Specialist Finishes - Special effects painting create unique areas of individual tastes. Examples of a tiled effect floor created with paint finishes can be seen in the photo gallery. This particular floor was created for a scene in the film Angels and Insects (1994)

"Jim along with John did a brilliant job. Can’t fault them....they painted the kitchen, lounge,hall and stairway. It was a pleasure to have them in the house!
