J Field Construction Ltd
Home Extensions, Renovations & Structural Works Across Worcestershire and the West Midlands
A successful building project takes more than skilled tradespeople. It takes careful planning, clear decisions and someone you can trust to take responsibility for the work from start to finish.
At J Field Construction Ltd, we deliver extensions, renovations and structural projects with the organisation and attention to detail they deserve. As a family-run company, we understand that we are working in your home, often while you are living in it. We take that responsibility seriously.
What you can expect from us
From your initial consultation to final handover, we provide a clear, managed process. That includes a detailed quotation, a written building contract, a schedule of works and agreed staged payments. We coordinate the trades, supervise the work on site and keep you informed as the project progresses.
If your plans are still taking shape, we can help coordinate the professionals you may need, including architects, structural engineers and quantity surveyors, and guide the project through the relevant planning and Building Control stages.
Our work includes:
• Single and double-storey extensions
• Whole-home renovations and refurbishments
• Structural alterations and steel installations
• Loft and garage conversions
• Roofing, including warm roofs and GRP flat roofs
• Kitchens and bathrooms
• Groundworks, drainage, brickwork and plastering
We are fully insured and a member of the Federation of Master Builders. In 2026, we were named a finalist in the National Construction Awards 2026 and recognised by SME News as Best Home Extensions & Renovations Contractor - West Midlands.
Whether you have a full set of drawings or an idea you would like to explore, we would welcome the opportunity to hear about your project. Get in touch with J Field Construction Ltd to arrange an initial conversation and find out how we can help bring your plans to life.

Mark - Image 1 "Very professional work undertaken by Jon and his team with this bathroom extension and fitting of full new bath, shower, vanity unit, mirror cupboard, tiling, plastering. The quality is beyond what we had hoped for and would absolutely recommend to anyone. Their ability to adapt to developments during the works, and their ability to show and explain, demonstrated their innate knowledge and capabilities. It ended up with an even better bathroom than we had hoped for. The most important factor, though, when having someone undertake works such as this, is having the right people in your home. Jon, Martin and Barry were a pleasure to have in our house, and we felt completely comfortable with their presence. The open honesty they approached the project with gave us such confidence. Great company, great work, great people."

"We recently used J Field construction to do a garage conversion into utility room from our kitchen. Engaging builders can be worrying that you’ve chosen the right company. I’m so pleased that we did John and his team are professional, polite, funny, tidy & hard workers. They turned up on time every day and did full days! Communication was great all the way through the project. They were in full control of the works from start to finish and we felt completely comfortable having them in our home each day. I would highly recommend J Field Construction and would happily engage their services in the future if required"

"Fantastic and professional company Great company from start to finish. Worked alongside architects drawings to create an extension that was above and beyond what we were expecting in every way. Jon was great, popping on site on a regular occurance to check on progress. Martin and Baz (and others) were punctual to site every day and demonstrated professionalism and hard graft throughout. Would definitely recommend and would personally work with again in an instant."

Jon and his amazing team have transformed our sitting room from old, tired and dark room into a new fresh room that is light and airy with a modern twist that links in well with the age of the cottage including our amazing new fire surround which is simply stunning !!
