About I Lock Security - Locksmith in I Lock Security
I Lock Security are a reliable and established company with over 10 years experience in helping customers with their security and 'lock-out' problems. Based in Weston-Super-Mare, we serve all surrounding areas, including Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset.
All of us at some time have a problem getting into our property.
We will always try a number of non-destructive ways to open your doors, but unlike those TV detectives who manage to pick open a lock in 10 seconds, the reality is there are times when we will have to break your lock to gain entry. If we have to do this then we will fit a comparable lock at no extra cost.
Whether you have a traditional Wooden door, a UPVC door or a modern Composite door we have locks to fit them. Our basic cylinders for multipoint locks are 1 rated meaning they are anti snap; anti-drill and anti-pick. they come with FIVE keys and are excellent value (Prices from £12 ). We also supply and fit ABS 3** cylinders and we highly recommend them; especially for landlords who do not want tenants to duplicate keys.
We also supply and fit multi lock gearboxes; handles and other door furniture to make your property safe.
To summarise our services we do the following (and a bit more!)
- All types of locks changed & repaired
- 24/7 emergency locked out service.
- Lock change for tenant management
- Window locks, garage door locks
- Access Control services
- Free survey & advice *
- Discount for Senior Citizens, and people on low fixed incomes *
- Bolts and cylinders supplied and fitted for Aluminium Shop Doors
As well as traditional wooden doors we also specialise in UPVC doors and windows and can solve alignment problems as well as locking problems. I.e. - if you have to slam to the door or window to close it, then we can put that right. Also perhaps a part of the mechanism is broken? We can supply and fit a new mechanism usually within 24 hours.
We also pride ourselves on fitting the lock you want, and are happy with. We can also recommend security products that you may not have heard about! Please visit our website for further information on how we can help you.
Please call us to discuss your requirements or for free professional, friendly and helpful advice. We look forward to hearing from you.
Please mention Trustatrader when calling. Thank you.

- The customer required an Antique Brass fitting to match the original handles. So we came up with this very nice fitting. If you are wondering why the outside fitting has a "slot". It is to open the door from the outside in an emergency; with a screwdriver, or a coin

- Another bathroom, but this one is downstairs. Here we have fitted a "traditional" latch bolt. A lot more work that the Union bolt

3
- This is the other side of the bathroom door. as you can see we have "mixed and matched" the chrome and brass fittings to go with the rooms previous fittings.

- We had a job fitting new bathroom locks in a Victorian house. as you can see it has a "round" bolt fixture and is produced by Union Locks. It is easier to fit than a tradional bolt

- Old updated conservatory doors. Here we had an old pair of doors that would not lock. The problem was the gearbox on the locking system had failed. Although quite rare we found one and within 24 hours had fitted it, along with a new pair of handles. The door on the left was also rebalanced.

- Traditional goes modern. We have replaced a traditional key opening sash lock with a modern euro cylinder sashlock. This house was being rented out to students and as such needed a lock with a turner fitted. This is to comply with fire regulations that say properties of multiple occupancy must have a lock that can be opened with a turn action

- Here we have fitted a EURO cylinder thumb turn cylinder to operate a deadlock on a large Victorian door. The owner found operation the traditional deadlock difficult. Note the outdoor escutcheon is screwed to the interior escutcheon making it impossible to remove or snap the cylinder.

"Paul responded the same day- visited the next day. Was able to service a suitable product others had said was unavailable, fitted at a very reasonable cost. A very pleasant man to deal with."
