"I can’t recommend Joseph Howe and Howeson Building highly enough. Joseph recently completed the work to fill in a doorway in my home, and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. He was respectful, punctual and incredibly efficient, with clear pride in his workmanship. The standard of skill was obvious throughout — the job was done carefully, cleanly and to a very high finish. Just as importantly, Joseph was an excellent communicator, explaining what he was doing, keeping me informed at every stage, and making the whole process feel straightforward and stress-free. It’s rare to find someone who combines technical skill with such professionalism and reliability. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Howeson Building again and would highly recommend Joseph to anyone looking for quality building work carried out with care and integrity."

"Joseph Howe did an excellent job repairing my sofa. He was very respectful, diligent, and clearly proficient, taking real care with the finish. The work was carried out efficiently and to a high standard. I’d happily recommend him and wouldn’t hesitate to use him again."

"Joseph was very responsive to my enquiry to fixed a hole in my ceiling caused by a water leak and provided a very competitive quote. He kept me informed of the process and arrived on time. He also made an effort to keep the house as clean as possible. The finish and service was first rate and I would highly recommend this trader."

"From the very beginning, plans were inconsistent and constantly changing, with agreed arrangements not being honoured and goalposts moved without explanation. Despite this, there was no hesitation in chasing payments. Communication was poor throughout — excuses instead of answers, no accountability, and no proactive updates. I repeatedly had to chase for basic information that should have been provided as standard. The whole experience felt misleading and dishonest. Promises were made to secure the job and then conveniently forgotten once work began. In the end, I was left stressed, out of pocket, and deeply regret trusting this company. I would not recommend."
