About Harvey Carpentry and Building - Carpenters & Joiners in Waltham Cross, EN7 6HW
At Harvey Carpentry & Building we have been providing carpentry and joinery services to customers in Cheshunt, Hertford, Waltham Cross, Enfield, Essex and Hertfordshire areas for over 20 years. As craftsmen with in-depth knowledge of our trade, we use a combination of traditional and modern methods to help each customer achieve the finish they desire without compromising on quality.
We believe that all joinery should be done to the highest standards, whether it’s a feature staircase or hanging a door. To this end, we conduct a consultation with each prospective customer so that we can accurately gauge their expectations, desired functionality, timescale and budget. This allows us to advise each customer of the best course of action based on their particular needs and helps us to achieve high rates of customer satisfaction for our bespoke carpentry.

- First we battened out the block work, packing out out battens to ensure everything was level and true with dpc applied behind to stop moisture rotting the timbers in the future.

- After the roof structure was complete, we boarded it out in 12mm OSB board then added the 120mm insulation and fitted 18mm ply over the top (known as a warm deck) ready for the roofers.

- A three section part winding stair case we fitted in Enfield. Once the sections were put together and glued, we moved on to adding the newel posts, risers and treads.
