At family-run Ensom Carpentry & Dry Lining we have been providing carpentry and joinery services to customers in Braintree for ten years. As craftsmen with in-depth knowledge of our trade, we use a combination of traditional and modern methods to help each customer to achieve the finish they desire without compromising on quality.

We specialise in all aspects of carpentry and dry lining, there is no job to small. We take pride in all our work making sure that everything is completed to a professional standard whilst working clean and tidy.

We believe that all joinery should be done to the highest standards, whether it’s a feature staircase or hanging a door. To this end, we conduct a consultation with each prospective customer so that we can accurately gauge their expectations, desired functionality, timescale and budget.     "I first met Matt when he came over to give me a quote for a door job. Matt was the most friendly and professional of the few people who had quoted me. So I engaged Matt to do this job for me and he delivered a fantastic service, from beginning to end. After this job I asked him to lay a lovely and expensive laminate floor for me. He did my entire two bedroom home, including a very large living room. He did a fantastic job and there isn’t a person who comes here who doesn’t notice the floor. I have Matt booked to do a few more jobs for me in the new year. Matt has also done jobs for my neighbour, who was also extremely pleased with him. My neighbour also got the Matt Bug - where you keep find jobs for Matt to do, as he does then so well, you will just want your entire place revamped. Having a little one at home it’s almost impossible to take a picture where the place looks pristine, to do Matt’s job justice. Hope I can add more pictures soon."
