My name is Mitchell Baker.

I am a fully qualified and certified NICEIC approved contractor with over 15 years of experience within the electrical industry. My work coverage area is all of London and the South East areas.

I started my apprenticeship with my father upon leaving school and over the years expanded my own clientele for my own company, Empower Electrical Installations. Work ranging from within my local community (Thurrock), London and surrounding boroughs.

Most of my work until recently was proudly based on word of mouth, as I like to take a personal approach to my workload. I pride myself in ensuring I always give a professional and competitive service, whilst listening to my clients’ varying needs and budgets.

I recently took some time to expand my knowledge within the field by becoming competent to install Solar PV and EV charging, meaning I am now able to offer my services and support to more customers. The expansion has allowed me to become part of the MCS (micro generation certification scheme) and open a second division of my company Empower Eco Renewables Ltd.

With the current climate, and looking to the future, there is a growing demand for renewable electrical options for people. I feel I can contribute to supporting the drive to improve the sustainability for the majority with my knowledge and experience within the industry.

There is no doubt that, conventional energy sources are drastically depleted and have had a devastating impact on the environment. Solar power has the potential to harvest the power from the sun and convert it into usable power. The result? Sustainable, affordable power sources for our customers that are not dependent on finite resources.
