About Damp Solutions, Walthamstow

Damp Solutions provides professional damp proofing in North London, operating from Walthamstow and supporting homes and businesses across the area. I offer practical, reassuring advice for damp-related problems, with a focus on getting to the real cause rather than treating symptoms.

I’m a sole operator and work completely on my own, so there are no labourers or added overheads—helping keep costs sensible, especially on smaller damp proofing jobs. With over 30 years’ experience, I stay up to date with changing technology and use it to deliver straightforward solutions you can feel confident about.

I diagnose and treat damp in North London, and my services include:

  • Damp Survey & Advanced Diagnostics
  • All Damp Proofing
  • Basement Waterproofing Membrane Lining & Tanking Systems
  • Woodworm
  • Rising Damp
  • Water Proofing
  • Timber Preservation

I visit your property, discuss what’s happening, explain the likely cause, and recommend practical options to reduce damp. Where drilling and injecting damp courses are needed, I use high performance creams, and I can remove and replace rendering with a waterproof option, managing any plastering involved.

To find out more about who I am and what I do, please visit my You Tube page.

If you’d like a free damp survey and quote, please use the contact details above to arrange a full, no-obligation damp inspection. Please mention TrustATrader when you get in touch.

Ian Oliver - Image 1 "John has done a really great job. The job included hacking off damp and perished plaster up to two to four meters, rendering the area with two coats of waterproof render, and finishing it with a set coat. He kept everywhere clean and tidy and the job was completed to a high standard. I’d be more than happy to use John again and recommend him to friends and family.😃"

"John from Damprotek was friendly and professional . The work we had carried out was to plaster our main bedroom and the room was always left tidy and accessible considering the workload involved. The work was very seemless to the extent that we would get John of Damprotek back without hesitation. Fully recommend their work."
