Adam - Image 1 "We used Create Solutions Projects Ltd for supplementary kitchen installation works and unfortunately had a very poor experience. The work carried out was of a low standard and a number of issues were identified, including damage to units, poor finishing, and elements not being installed in line with the agreed plans. Several items also appeared to be incomplete despite payment being made. We were invoiced for floor levelling works which, on later inspection, do not appear to have been carried out, which is extremely concerning. We were also very concerned to discover that work had been carried out on a gas pipe, and we have not been provided with any gas safety certification. Following inspection by the kitchen supplier, significant remedial works have been required, including replacement of units and reinstallation. Overall, this has caused considerable disruption and stress, and we would not recommend."

Trader reply: "“Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback, Adam. I’m sorry to hear you’ve been left feeling this way, and I’d like to respond to the points raised as we see them quite differently. Damaged units: The kitchen units were supplied directly by Wren Kitchens, not by us. Any damage present on delivery or arising from the supplier’s manufacturing would be a matter for Wren under their warranty. We’re happy to assist with evidencing this if helpful. Floor levelling: Self-levelling compound was applied across the majority of the floor area as required for the install. This is a flattening process to prepare the substrate, not a full re-levelling of the floor structure, which was not within the agreed scope. I also deducted from the invoice extra works we carried out to amend for this. Deviation from plans: Any on-site adjustments were discussed and agreed at the time with both yourselves and the kitchen designer present — including the extractor position, which would otherwise have been out of line with the units. These were collaborative decisions, not unilateral changes. Gas works: All gas works were carried out and tested in line with Gas Safe requirements. Our trade memberships and registrations are publicly listed and available on request. If a copy of any documentation is outstanding, please let me know directly and we’ll aim to provide it. Resolution: As you know, we are in ongoing email contact and I remain willing to discuss any specific concerns and look at appropriate remedies where warranted. We always prefer the chance to address issues directly before matters escalate. I’m sorry your experience has not met the standard we aim for, and I appreciate the opportunity to set out our position.”"
